I had audio stutter in all games i started from steam. Running them without steam works without any problems also playing music, watching videos wasnot a problem.

After some testing i found out that if i restart pulseaudio with "pulseaudio --kill" the sound works for one time. So i found the error message "AL lib: pulseaudio.c:612: Context did not connect: Access denied" that sugested that ALSA was used  instead of Pulseaudio.

On google i found this page for the error:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9547396/what-does-al-lib-pulseaudio-c612-context-did-not-connect-access-denied-me

There they suggested to set this in the file /etc/openal/alsoft.conf:
drivers=alsa,pulse,

This sets ALSA as the first output device and pulseaudio and everything else after it. Now my sound problems are gone and i can enjoy all the games :)
